The Willits City Council consists of five elected Council members, one of whom is chosen by the Council members to serve as Mayor and one of whom is chosen to serve as Vice Mayor. The Council also serves as the Willits Planning Commission and the Willits Community Development Agency.

Meetings: The Council holds regular meetings on the second and fourth Wednesday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers.
